About Me:

My name is Michael aka Mikestar/Static Dancer, I'm 21yrs old, Im a dancer from London have been for 2yrs now, i dance in many styles mainly street styles/ B'boyin, Popping but also know many other styles. I train at least 5hrs a day 6days a week weather its on basic technique or fullout hardcore training, I train with my old crew Urbankrew in southgate (London), UCL Breakers Faceless Monkeys and also at Funk Physics Studio with Kimberlee Jay in seven sisters checkout the website if your interested in dance/classes in London www.funkphysics.com, its my passion to dance and will be till the day i die. I was a karate instructor for 2yrs but had to stop due to an injury.I live on my own and have been for the past yr now, my mum and brother (my only family) moved out to St Anne's 3miles from Blackpool so im alone in London (YAY), Look forward to meeting lots of you guys on here and making some new friends.

Confused People....

To night i sat at home editing training footage of me dancing when i got a knock on the door, it was my neighbour who had locked himself out of his room. Ive not long moved in and don't really know my neighbours that well but as he also let me sit with him one time i locked myself out i thought I'd return the favor and be a nice person i am. At 7:09pm on September 21, 2008, gideon said…: Hey read your comments, my son is 10 and he loves and breathes his dance, i shop at Asda, everytime i look round to find him he is dancing in the aisle, he loves performing in front of people, i dont care what the kids say at school, they have called him angeleena ballerina cause he has started ballet, he trains with Zoo Nation and most boys there do ballet, there is a life in dance and i believe in 5 years time street dance is going to be the biggest. My son is mixed race and just seems to have the natureal rhyem, so go for it you, follow your heart and dreams and not your friends or neighbours, there is so many negative people out there cause when they fall you will have one of the greatest passions in life DANCE.
