Proceeds from this event will go to Guy's and St Thomas' Charity which awards grants to facilitate improvements to health services and a wide range of projects including small schemes which improve the patient's environment to major initiatives which involve the purchase of cutting-edge equipment to diagnose or treat illness. Grants for research are also awarded to King’s College London, which is the university where the regular London Bridge Training sessions are held on the weekends.
